This article will show how to use Launch HD III Module to work together with X431 Throttle (can also used with X431 V+, PAD3, PAD -AE or PAD2) on an International truck to perform basic functions incl. the injector programming, injector Cutout, engine compression test and how to do a parameter speed change on your cruise control.

HDIII heavy duty module: how to perform injector cutout test for International / MaxxForce.
We are using the type 2 9 pin and then to connect it to our 4 foot cable and then we connect it to the vehicle.
We have already paired the add-on to the vehicle and to the tablet, and we are going to go ahead and start a vehicle test.
Tap ” diagnose”.

International (HD) V10.85: This program can diagnose the electronic control system matching with SAE J1939 and SAE 1708. (Coverage from 1996 – 2018). Tap “Ok”.

The first test we’re gonna do is the injector cut out, so we’re going to the actuation test.
Key ON Engine Run.
Multiple Cylinder Cutout test.
Read all the instructions here, make sure everything fulfilled, when you done so, hit “OK”.
And you can select the cylinder you want to cut out. We’re gonna cut out_#1, and you can feel the vehicle shaking. Back to normal.
And we’re going to cut out cylinder 4 and you can feel the vehicle shaking. And we’re gonna go back to normal.
